Jill just recorded a song at our home studio. It was fun to record, this was the first recording we've made, and though it's just a demo, we think it turned out pretty well.

New House

Its been a few months since the last post! This weekend we FINALLY moved into our new home. We still have some unpacking to do before our office is usable. In the meantime, the iBook is in the kitchen on a card table so we have use of a computer and the internet. The Mac upstairs may not see power for a few more days when we clear out the boxes of stuff we need to find a place for. Our first night here was on the 1st and we got a little cold because we didn't have the thermostat figured out right. Now that we've been in for a few days, we are at the point where we run around the house trying to find stuff that we need that hasn't been unpacked yet.

Update on the house

Yesterday we went by our new place to see it's progress. The outside is basically done (sans landscaping) and the inside is being painted. The building next to ours has carpet and appliances in already.

Our New House—Framing

Our home is being built in Tooele and we are so excited. The front will be stucco and brick. These pictures are from June 11th. So far they have put in the drywall and should be adding the molding and doors soon.
The first picture is taken from the kitchen, looking through the stairs and half bath into the living room.

Beach Boys Concert

We went to a Beach Boys concert on June 10th with the tickets Jill won on TV. Lily was really enjoying it with us yelling and dancing.

Sarah bought Elijah and Lily some pajamas at Old Navy for 49 cents and we had them wear them.

The other day Jill and I were watching television, while Lily was playing in the corner. I happened to look over and found she has taken a Tupperware full of muffins and proceeded to destroy some of them.

Jill bought Lily some new clothes and took some pictures of her. That last picture looks like Lily is trying to model.

Lily Update

Lily's been growing up quickly. This week she started standing by herself and has really good balance. I imagine she will be walking by the end of the month. It's hard to believe that she will celebrate her first birthday next month! She is just a wonderful girl, full of smiles. She has now transitioned off of the bottle and formula. She loves green beans and Cheerios. She also loves playing the piano, eating cookies, and dancing.
